Grants and scholarships: Teacher and classroom enhancement grants: 19 grants were awarded to North Clackamas educators to fund innovative projects and technology. Projects included a suicide awareness and prevention program, a curriculum program geared toward exploration of the world and a variety of cultures, equipment for student created podcasts, district wide funding for improved technology for the speech-language pathology program, and funding for music and arts programs. These projects impacted more than 4,000 students in grades K-12 in every school in North Clackamas School District. 22 scholarships were awarded to graduating North Clackamas seniors to continue their education at four-year universities, two-year community college or trade school.
