About
OEN provides services and programs, outreach, and access to capital for entrepreneurs. We provide educational workshops and webinars to assist entrepreneurs at all levels. From our 'startup services' workshops throughout the year to our entrepreneurial summit, OEN helps entrepreneurs close the gap between their business concept and an executable plan. Pubtalk is a monthly event that provides a forum for entrepreneurs to network and learn new ways to grow. This year's attendance averaged 80-120, many of whom are first-time attendees. Our blog, Twitter, and our Facebook and LinkedIn groups, provide active social networking for entrepreneurs, and our Basecamp groups provide forums for them to exchange information and share requests for assistance. Our angel investor groups continued to grow this year. There are now more than 100 local investors within OEN who actively consider investment in startup companies.
