A healthy community begins at home. Reach's mission is to create quality, affordable housing and opportunities for individuals, families and communities to thrive. Reach is a private, nonprofit community development corporation, started in 1982 in response to neighbors' concern about deteriorating housing conditions in their Southeast Portland neighborhood. Today, Reach owns and manages a portfolio of over 3,000 units of affordable housing located across the metropolitan region, including properties in Multnomah, Washington and Clark Counties.
