About this organization
Mission
The organization is a bilingual multi-cultural agency dedicated to the empowerment of the Latino community in Lane County Oregon.
About
Community Behavioral Health - Trauma and addiction are a reality in our community, so finding the best fit for mental health therapy and addictions treatment is vital. As a Latino-serving agency, it is critical that services be offered in English and Spanish, and ideally, are provided by individuals who also bring lived experiences from multicultural communities. Mental Health counselors have background and training in Couples and Family Therapy and Social Work and work with adults and children to offer education and support around mental health disorders and cognitive and behavioral health. Addictions counselors conduct individual and group sessions with youth and adults, and they also treat problem gambling addiction. This team of therapists and counselors specifically address the mental health and addictions needs of those without health insurance and those on Medicaid. We also have a wraparound team that works intensively with families involved in more than one child-serving agency (e.g., child welfare, juvenile justice, developmental disabilities, etc.) and whose child has a mental health diagnosis.
