Workforce Development this year we launched Centro de Prosperidad Workforce Development Center through a contract with the City of Hillsboro. We provide job training and placement service and help remove barriers to employment.Latino Senior Program we provide culturally - specific meals and programming to low-income senior citizens once a week in our main hall. We provide educational and health-related programs and physical movement activities (Tai Chi and Senior Zumba) to improve their well-being.We provide STEM and Lego Robotics programming for youth on Saturdays and during our 4-week long summer program for children in k-9th grades.Through our workforce center we offer computer literacy and GED tutoring for job-seekers and other occupational language supports to employers for their employees.We provide Information and Referral (I&R), systems navigation, translation and interpreting services for non-English speaking individuals.
