About this organization
Mission
Perseverance Theatre's mission is to create professional theatre by and for Alaskans. We value community engagement, professional rigor, and regional voice.
About
The Organization produced a six play season in both Juneau and Anchorage, including a world premiere by an Alaska Native Playwright in addition to beloved classics like A Christmas Carol, Cyrano De Begerac, and Steel Magnolias. Education programs were offered in both cities with Juneau programs including the Summer Theatre Arts Rendezvous (STAR), Young Company productions, and Black Box productions in conjunction with the University of Alaska Southeast. A Spring Break Camp took place in both cities. Three interns were with the organization throughout the season working and learning in a variety of departments.
