Serrc is Alaskas educational resource center dedicated to delivering exemplary services and programs to Alaska school districts.

Instructional support service - this program includes special education related services (speech, physical and occupational therapy and school psychology), transition services, technology, adult and vocational education, career connections, drivers education, career & technical education and family literacy. Serrc is the largest provider of related special education services in the state of Alaska. During fiscal year 2018 1,101 students were served in 28 districts. Transition camps were held in various districts in the state. Services were also provided at juvinille justice facilities. During FY18 181 students were served in 14 school districts. Technology department provided services to 20 Alaska school districts and organizations to assist with implementation and maintenance of customized technology used to improve student achievement and school efficiencies. More than 2,000 youth were served. AK Drive (drivers education) helps Southeast Alaskan's obtain drivers licenses through classroom, simulator instruction and behind-the-wheel training. During FY18 the drivers education program taught 49 individuals how to drive.
