Educational programs: NWMC provides experiential on the water programs to youth and adults with the goal of enabling participants the opportunity to learn about and celebrate our maritime heritage and natural resources. Our youth programs focus on character building through leadership and teamwork training and on developing maritime-related skills through mentorship. Our boat shop focuses on traditional skills and up to date craftsmanship through build your own boat classes and apprenticeships.
