The KKSC winter ride program is an eight week ski and snowboard program for middle and high school students. The winter ride program was established over 50 years ago at Mt Baker ski area. In August of 2016, KKSC took over managing the program for the Bellingham school district and youth living in the Bellingham school districtr arranging the transportation to and from the mountian for 8 weeks. We subsidized 2018-19 with $8200 to lower the cost of transportation per family and had 150 regular riders and 11 single trips.
