Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Washington & Alaska owns and operates the Seattle Ronald McDonald House. With 80 rooms, the Seattle House provides supportive, temporary lodging to families of seriously ill children who must leave their own community to have their children treated at Seattle Children's Hospital. In 2018, 374 families stayed at the Seattle House. The Seattle Ronald McDonald House is a comfortable and nurturing environment. Families have their own individual rooms and bathrooms and share the rest of the house - a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, a stocked pantry, computer lab, laundry facilities, a movie theater and play areas.
