Mission
Leadership Initiatives (LI) approaches the problems of underdevelopment by empowering communities to address their own needs. LI partners with local government and business leaders to provide promising individuals with entrepreneurial, leadership and project management training. These young leaders then identify obstacles to development within their own communities, design workable solutions, and create sustainable business models to overcome those obstacles.

Leadership Initiatives held two business creation programs in Bauchi and the communities of its surrounding states, and launched two new programs. The Association business expansion program worked with four Bauchi based businesses to expand their services and locations to new communities, creating new jobs and opportunties across Bauchi state. The Association's International Business Alliance Program partnered US high school students with developing businesses across the globe, creating a program where US students could work to solve a growingbusinesses development problems, and work to teach them new skills fostering life-long partnerships and transforming lives.
