St. Anne's Center exists to aid the poor, needy and homeless by providing food, shelter and critical emergency services. We provide a hand up rather than a hand out. Our goal is to transition residents from shelter to housing; encouraging their sense of independence, self-sufficiency and self-confidence. ST. ANNE'S CENTER, DOING BUSINESS AS LANTERN HOUSE EXISTS TO AID THE POOR, NEEDY AND HOMELESS BY PROVIDING THEM FOOD, SHELTER AND CRITICAL EMERGENCY SERVICES. OUR GOAL IS TO TRANSITION RESIDENTS FROM SHELTER TO HOUSING; ENCOURAGING THEIR SENSE OF INDEPENDENCE, SELF-SUFFICIENCY AND SELF- CONFIDENCE. WE ARE A TRAUMA INFORMED SHELTER PROVIDING CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES DESIGNED TO LINK CLIENTS TO LOCAL RESOURCES, HELP OBTAIN MAINSTREAM BENEFITS, INCREASE INCOME AND GAIN STABILITY WITHIN THE COMMUNITY. OUR SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS ARE THE FOLLOWING: "WE PROVIDED APPROXIMATELY 70,900 NIGHTS OF SAFE AND SECURE SHELTER TO 2,318 HOMELESS MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN (WHICH IS A 10% INCREASE FROM PREVIOUS FISCAL YEAR.) "WE PROVIDED APPROXIMATELY 123,254 THOUSAND HOT, NUTRITIOUS MEALS TO OVER 4500 HOMELESS AND LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES THROUGHOUT NORTHERN UTAH (CHICH IS A 24% INCREASE FROM PREVIOUS YEAR). "WE PROVIDED MORE THAN 198,000 (VIA STATE AND FEDERAL FUNDING) IN RAPID RE-HOUSING RENTAL AND DEPOSIT ASSISTANCE. "WE HELPED HOUSE OVER 394 HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES.
