About

Operation School Bell provides students K-8 with new school clothes, backpacks, shoes and a new book. There are three ways our students are served: vouchers, onsite dressings and offsite dressings. For uniform schools, Operation School Bell provides uniform vouchers and Payless shoe gift cards. Students at non-uniform schools are bussed to the philanthropic programs center where they pick out a week's worth of new school clothes. For those students who are hard to fit or cannot attend a dressing at Assistance League, four dressings a year are held at JCPennys. Since starting in 1994, Operation School Bell has helped over 71,000 students. This year, we served more than 4500 students and plan to help 5,000 students in FY19-20.
