About this organization
Mission
Building lifelong earth- and health-conscious values within children through hands-on gardening, nutrition and cooking education.
About
Keiki is Hawaiian for “child”. Farm to Keiki = Farm to Child. While our roots are in the farm to table movement (when we first started this organization), Farm to Keiki is much more than bringing farm produce to children, or children to a farm. Farm to Keiki is about growing new generation of healthy, and caring stewards of the Earth. It’s about adopting a culture where children are fed healthy, locally grown foods. A culture where nutrition, environmental education and gardening is part of their daily academics. A culture where they learn to love farm fresh meals because they have cooked them themselves.
