Mission
We build simple, affordable houses for low income families in Grand County which we sell to the families with an affordable mortgage and at no profit to us.
About
Habitat for Humanity of Grand County builds basic, affordable housing in partnership with low-income families living in inadequate housing. The homes are sold to the family at no-profit and are heavily subsidized by Habitat. We continue to support our families after they move into their homes with educational classes and we make every effort to help them through financial difficulties that arise. With our 2012 house, we have built 10 houses in Grand County that have helped 17 adults and 20 children achieve the dream of a safe, secure home of their own. We are very proud that our 2010 house achieved energy star rating and are committed to making all Habitat constructed homes comply with energy star standards.
