DURING FISCAL YEAR 2018-2019, OUR FOUR MEDICAL CLINICS LOCATED IN LIVINGSTON, BOZEMAN, BELGRADE, AND WEST YELLOWSTONE, AND OUR TWO DENTAL CLINICS LOCATED IN LIVINGSTON AND BOZEMAN, SERVED APPROXIMATELY 11,454 PATIENTS, PROVIDING MEDICAL, DENTAL, AND INTEGRATED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES TO ALL PATIENTS REGARDLESS OF ABILITY TO PAY. PATIENT FEES FOR THESE SERVICES WERE ADJUSTED USING A SLIDING FEE SCALE BASED ON FEDERAL POVERTY GUIDELINES. DURING THIS PERIOD, SLIDING FEE DISCOUNTS APPLIED TO PATIENT VISITS TOTALED $796,265. THROUGH OUR ONSITE RESOURCE COORDINATORS AND OUTREACH AND ENROLLMENT SPECIALISTS, WE PROVIDED CONNECTIONS WITH COMMUNITY RESOURCES ABLE TO HELP WITH NON-MEDICAL NEEDS, AS WELL ASSISTANCE WITH HEALTH INSURANCE ENROLLMENTS. THROUGH THE MEDICATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, 84 APPLICATIONS WERE PROCESSED BY CHP STAFF FOR NO-COST PRESCRIPTION MEDICATIONS, WHILE 2,912 PRESCRIPTIONS WERE PROVIDED THROUGH THE FEDERAL 340(B) PROGRAM. WE ESTIMATE THAT ACCESS TO THESE PHARMACY PROGRAMS PROVIDED SAVINGS OF APPROXIMATELY $317,899 FOR OUR PATIENTS DURING THE PERIOD JULY 1, 2018 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2019.
