The Laramie Plains Museum, on the national register of historic places, is situated on a full square block in the historic district of Laramie, Wyoming, and consists of the restored 1892 Ivinson Mansion and its carriage house, the Alice Hardie Stevens Center reception hall/curatorial accessioning area, and the Marshall one-room school house. The museum also owns an 1883 historic stone stable, currently configured as a 2 unit complex, and a brick residence in the block immediately north of the museum. The museum's extensive collection includes period home furnishings, textiles, original artwork, more than 17,000 local photographs, and over 32,000 artifacts and items of historic value to the area.
