About

Home care and caregiver support: to enable adults to remain in their homes and to age in place independently and with dignity, The Senior Connection offers in-home care services that support activities for daily living such as providing personal hygiene and bathing, dressing, meal preparation, mobility, light housekeeping and errands. Caregivers are cnas and other employees who have passed a complete background check and random drug testing. The Senior Connection also offers an adult day care and respite program for individuals living with Alzheimer's or another form of dementia or other cognitive impairment. This carefully designed program is offered four days per week and includes activities such as brain stimulation and socialization activities, daily lunch, activities, music and pet therapy, gentle exercise and local field trips. While providing enrichment in the individual's daily life, the primary caregivers and family members are able to receive supportive help and are given relief from their care giving routine.
