The Popeyes Foundation has been created to support two causes - for our family we developed the Popeyes Foundation Family Fund to assist with immediate needs of employees and/or their immediate family members who may be victims of disaster or other emergency hardship situations. For our community, we will focus on hunger relief efforts primarily through our partnership with No Kid Hungry.

In 2019, we expanded our board of directors to include two franchisees, which has proven to be a very important part of growing our foundation message through the franchise system. In an effort to continue to grow our revenue in a strategic way, we partnered with Wells Fargo Wealth Management: Philanthropic Services in an effort to manage foundation investments as well as grow the foundation year over year. To further our cause in the hunger relief space, we made an annual commitment to partner with Share Our Strength: No Kid Hungry resulting in the first in-restaurant, guest facing fundraising totaling a donation of $150,000 to the organization. The second cause we support is the Popeyes Foundation Family Fund which provided grants to eight recipients totaling $19,250. Due to events, annual giving and outright donations, we saw a 462% increase in total revenue yoy and 45% increase in contribution to other organizations.
