The organization has developed a successful robotics competition team comprised of 100 high school students from the entire Davis School District; supervised by a Davis Schools science instructor. The students mentor each other and are supervised by many volunteers with knowledge in the area of robotics. The team participated in three regional competitions, placed in the world championship in Houston and participated in three off-season competitions. During the year ended August 2018 the team was invited to China to participate in an international competition there. The group expanded development of their shelter finder app used by the Davis Police Department and other agencies dealing with homeless to connect people with available shelter beds.
