Catalyst provides funding to support and conduct activities to provide access to education for youth affected by conflict, prejudice and poverty worldwide.

Catalyst works to (i) foster, support, promote, and conduct activities designed to provide AND expand access to safe, high-quality education worldwide, particularly for those populations of children and youth affected by war, conflict, prejudice, poverty, or isolation, and (ii) to increase global understanding of the critical lack of education facing such populations around the globe. Catalyst's Platform for Education in Emergencies Response (PEER) Program which was created by the institute of international education (iie), and is an online clearinghouse to enable displaced students to connect with educational opportunities to further their education. CATALYST APPROVED PEER'S INITIAL FUNDING IN 2016 AND The awarded grant was PAID in February 2017. Future payments under the grant agreement were subject to evaluation by CatalysT; IN MARCH 2018, AN EXPANSION OF THE PROGRAM WAS APPROVED AND ADDITIONAL FUNDING TO PEER WAS MADE.
