About
The Doubleday Sports Complex Committee is a group of eight separate organizations representing a variety of sports and community interests with a shared vision and mission for the development of a multi-use sports complex. The goal of the complex is to support youth baseball and softball, youth soccer, youth football, and adult softball, along with expanding participation, and instilling in youth the essential qualities of teamwork and sportsmanship, as well as pride in themselves and their community. Our forward thinking envisions a complex that allows for the following: 1. Four youth baseball/softball fields 2. Four adult softball fields 3. Two adult soccer fields 4. Multiple crossover youth soccer fields 5. Outfields used for little guy football 6. Seating for spectators 7. Concession and restroom facilities 8. Electrical, water, and sewer facilities for lawn mowing and operational maintenance needs. We feel these amenities make for an atmosphere that will enhance the experience for everyone who attends and participates for years to come.
