About this organization
Mission
Climate Mobilization Project is building power for a national transformation that rapidly restores a safe climate and creates a just and democratic society.
About
Climate Emergency Campaign Along with The Climate Mobilization, we launched a campaign to bring cities and counties into emergency mode, and racing to zero emissions plus drawdown. 5 US cities declared Climate Emergency in 2018 because of our efforts, and through sharing the campaign with Extinction Rebellion, more than 15 UK local governments and 50 Canadian local governments also declared a Climate Emergency. Climate Mobilization Project spread the word about the climate emergency and built power for a WWII-scale climate mobilization by conducting research, developing a Climate Emergency Declaration template, building coalitions, and offering training to the public.
