Adoption Solutions relocated our office to the east side of Tucson. Purchased furniture and office equipment. Provides services to 7 women who made adoption plans for their newborns. *including an 8 month old baby whose single teenage mother had been struggling to raise him. Provides supportive counseling and case management services to 5 women who chose to parent. Provided support to the Desert Nest Program by donating a cell phone. Desert Nest provides comfort care for babies who have been exposed to drugs in the womb. Provided support, meeting space, and fundraising for ProLove. Facilitated quarterly ProLife networking meetings for community providers in southern Arizona. Provided education to community child health providers regarding Arizona Safe Haven Baby Law. Provided safe transitional housing for 5 women (and their children), who where pregnant or recently placed a baby. Paid for professional counseling services for 3 women who were experiencing crisis pregnancy situations. Supported Fatima Women's Center staff & volunteers in providing services to their clients Provided support and resources to Reach Out and Hands of Hope Crisis Pregnancy Center. Met with 12 prospective Adoptive Families and provided education & support re: the adoption process Provided emotions and social support to women who were abortion minded (decided to carry child full term). Counseled a woman who was pregnant as a result of sexual assult and supported her in making an Adoption Plan.
