About
Funded by a grant from Allstate Foundation Road Safety Programs - Road Safety Fairs and Palm Beach County Distracted Driving Programs are done in both public and private schools across Florida. We educate teenage students and their parents about the importance of concentrating on driving and refraining from engaging in extraneous activities. Additional programs include safe driver video conferences, teen driver summits, zero distracted driving movement, click it or ticket, developing Dori driving clubs and the Dori app. These programs are designed to work in conjunction with the Dori Saves Lives 'Don't Text and Drive' pole signs posted in many middle and high school zones. Drivers education conference is a professional development event for driver education teachers in Florida with the objective of finding solutions to the problems facing our young drivers today. Drivers ed teachers receive distracted driving teaching tools, lesson plans and resources to integrate into their curriculum. These materials are updated constantly on the Dori Saves Lives Solution Room Teacher Resource Portal.
