YOUTH AND FAMILY SUMMER CAMPS: OUR SUMMER CAMPS BUILD CHARACTER IN YOUNG PEOPLE. WE UTILIZE THE TOOL OF OUTDOOR ADVENTURE, BRINGING YOUTH INTO A NEW ENVIRONMENT WHERE THEY CAN ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT LIFE AND FAITH. WE POINT TOWARDS GOD'S WORD, INCORPORATING INTO OUR ACTIVITIES A CURRICULUM THAT HELPS YOUTH GROW IN THEIR FAITH AND UNDERSTANDING WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A GODLY LEADER IN TODAY'S CULTURE. WE PLACE A STRONG EMPHASIS ON TRANSFERENCE, APPLYING THE LESSONS LEARNED HERE TO EACH PARTICIPANT'S LIFE AT HOME.OUR SUMMER CAMPS OFFER A BREAK FROM THE DAILY ROUTINE, ALLOWING FAMILIES TO RELAX AND ENJOY EACH OTHER. IN THE MIDST OF OUR FUN, WE LEARN. AT BIGHORN, WE DON'T DIVIDE "FUN TIME AND "CHAPEL TIME" AS SUCH. OUR ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES INCORPORATE TRUTH FROM GOD'S WORD, GAINING A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF HIM, HIS CHARACTER, AND HOW HE WANTS US TO LIVE AND WORK WITH THOSE PLACED IN OUR LIVES. IN ADDITION TO LEARNING THROUGH THE ACTIVITIES, WE ALSO HAVE DEDICATED CHAPEL TIMES. THESE BUILD OFF THE EVENTS THAT HAPPENED DURING THE DAY, BRINGING EVERYONE TOGETHER FOR A HOLISTIC LEARNING EXPERIENCE. THE UNIQUE PROGRAMS OF CAMP BIGHORN BRING FUN AND GROWTH TOGETHER, LEARNING HOW TO REFLECT ON PAST EVENTS AND GLEAN INSIGHT FOR THE FUTURE.
