The Foundation’s mission is to make FM a career of choice and is dedicated to the mission of promoting education for the facility management profession around the world.

Grants of scholarships to 26 students studying to enter the FM profession were made in 2017-18. In addition to a monetary award to help offset the costs of earning their FM-related degree, scholarship recipients were also awarded travel and related expenses to participate in IFMA's World Workplace Annual Conference and Exposition. By participating in the annual conference, students are exposed to best practices in the profession, learn of the newest technologies and build their professional network. As a result, students are better equipped to implement sustainable practices, increased work productivity, wellness and cost savings to their organizations.
