THE BOARD'S MISSION OF MARSHALL HOSPITAL FOUNDATION IS TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR GOOD SHEPHERD MEDICAL CENTER-MARSHALL BY GENERATING, SOLICITING AND RECEIVING FUNDS, GIFTS, AND BEQUESTS THAT ASSIST IN CARRYING OUT BENEFICIAL HEALTH CARE ACTIVITIES AS GSMC MARSHALL. MARSHALL HOSPITAL FOUNDATION IS TO SUPPORT GOOD SHEPHERD MEDICAL CENTER-MARSHALL IN ITS EFFORTS TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH AND MEDICAL SERVICES OF CASS AND MARION COUNTY COMMUNITIES. THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES ASSISTANCE WITH THE RESOURCES AVAILABLE FOR THE MAINTENANCE AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE MEDICAL CENTER'S CURRENT FACILITIES AND SERVICES. THE MARSHALL HOSPITAL FOUNDATION IS A 501(C)(3) CHARITABLE INSTITUTION GOVERNED BY A BOARD OF TRUSTEES COMMITTED TO: -RECEIVING AND MAINTAINING FUNDS FOR MEETING THE HEALTHCARE NEEDS OF THE RESIDENTS OF OUR AREA. -SUPPORTING MEDICAL EDUCATION THROUGH THE POLLY CARGILL NURSING SCHOLARSHIPS. -ENGAGING IN GENERAL HEALTHCARE INSTRUCTION TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. -APPLYING FOR GRANTS.
