The organization sponsors an annual livestock show to auction FFA students' livestock. The proceeds, less a minimal handling charge, are remitted to the students for future educational expenses. About
Provide college scholarships to graduates of Longview area schools. Scholarship recipients must make written application to the organization. Scholarships are paid directly to the two or four year college of the student's choice. To be eligible, the student must be a graduating senior, shown at the harvest festival for at least two of his or her high school years and placed in the top one half of the class academically. Applications are judged based on need, scholarship, leadership, citizenship and project program.
