Mission

To create business/arts partnerships that build world-class communities where people want to live, work and grow

About

LEADERSHIP ARTS INSTITUTE (LAI) was founded in 1989 to develop the next generation of business and arts leaders and encourage passion for the arts in North Texas. Each year, a limited number of business and nonprofit professionals are selected and trained in leadership, nonprofit board best practices, and knowledge of current critical issues affecting cultural institutions. Upon completion of the program, graduates are individually matched to serve on nonprofit boards of directors, which strengthens the North Texas community by providing business acumen and resources to optimize the potential of our nonprofit cultural sector.
