The East Texas Literacy Council helps its adult learners improve their job skills and basic life skills while acquiring a level of literacy that will enable them to go on to meet their personal goals or further their education. Students are served by meeting one to one with trained volunteer tutors, working in a computer-assisted learning center or attending small classes.
