About

Our proven program provides stable housing and wraparound services with highly-individualized support that fosters education, financial literacy, strong family relationships and healthy living, leading to a lifetime of self-sufficiency. Saint Louise House provides housing and essential wraparound services to Austin-area women and their children who are experiencing homelessness. Our goal is for families to stay together and develop long-term stability and self-sufficiency, breaking the cycle of poverty and homelessness two generations at a time. Our unique role is not only that we help single mothers and their children experiencing homelessness, but that we specifically help those women-led families that need more time and support than emergency shelters can provide, but who do not meet the requirements for other housing programs. We provide these families with stable housing and wraparound services with highly-individualized support that fosters education, financial literacy, strong family relationships and healthy living, that leads to a lifetime of self-sufficiency. Our organizational values of Empowerment, Hope, Growth Mindset, Commitment, Humility and Effectiveness drive our program model of intense partnership. This partnership leads to the women and children of Saint Louise House developing the skills necessary to transform their own lives and reach their full potential, breaking the cycle of homelessness and poverty for generations to come.
