Grants are made annually to Kansas University, University of Central Missouri, and University of Missouri at Kansas City, to be used for scholarships for students majoring in theatre. Such grants amounted to $33,750, with $11,250 being given to Kansas University, $11,250 being given to University of Central Missouri, and $11,250 being given to University of Missouri at Kansas City. Typically the grants are made near February year end. However, this year, due to scheduling issues of the universities, the reception at which the gifts are made did not occur until March 12, 2015 (which was after the fiscal year-end), at which time the grants were made.
