The mission of Skillpoint Alliance is to provide a gateway for individuals to transform their lives through rigorous skills-based training and education.
About
Skillpoint Alliance inspires and prepares people for high-demand careers through rapid workforce training for adults and project-based STEM education for youth. Our direct service programs include: Gateway (rapid workforce training in skilled trades), Empower (computer proficiency), Next (mid-career, fee-for-service training workshops), Velocity (high school STEM internships), STEM Innovation Camps (week-long, full-day STEM camps), Future City Competition (middle school civil engineering), First Robotics (K-12 competitive robotics), Hour of Code (K-12 computer science), Central Texas Discover Engineering (K-12 engineering guest speakers). Through an employee sharing agreement, Skillpoint also manages the First in Texas Foundation, which supports K-12 robotics across the state of Texas.
