This was year 6 of DVEF's Battle of the Books Reading Incentive Program. 23 schools participated. Student participation increased from 550 students last year to 216 teams including more than 640 students this year! Thanks to this program, DVEF has not only donated over 2,000 books to school libraries, but has exposed students to reading genres that they would otherwise not have been interested in.
