About this organization
Mission
Dedicated to protecting the beauty and wildness of the Wasatch canyons, mountains, and foothills.
About
SOC engaged over 30,000 people through our newsletters and website, hosting a weekly radio program, and organizing several events. We engage with several different governmental agencies to coordinate and minimize impacts of projects on the Wasatch Mountains. Additionally, we lead several stewardship projects to give back to this place by cleaning up road ways, pulling invasive weeds, and maintaining trails all to assist in the protection of this heavily used range. Last, but not least, we lead education programs to introduce urban youth to the natural systems and recreation opportunities in the Wasatch.
