About
Educational Classes and Meeting German Language Classes During this past year, over 400 adults attended three sessions of adult classes in 7 levels of instruction in Austin, San Antonio,West Austin, Round Rock (all cities in Texas) along with Online (remote). Over 200 children in the age range from 3 to 14 yearswere enrolled in Austin, San Antonio, Killeen, West Austin and Homeschool Online. Additionally, there are summer camps where 60 childrenspend 1 week per month (June, July, August) in German Immersion program. We also hold Stammtisch, a lunchtime gathering to speakGerman, in the historical German Free School Building. On average 15 adults attend this on a weekly basis. The Annual Conference,held in Galveston, Texas, is a two day event held in coordination with the local German Texan historical groups. Included program andspeakers providing German Texan heritage and genealogical information to over 60 attendees.
