EDUCATIONAL CLASSES AND LIFE SKILLS TRAINING, TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED.SUMMARY OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN 2019: 1. EDUCATIONAL CLASSES: 89 STUDENTS AGES 7-18. SESSIONS HELD: ACT TEST PREP-14 STUDENTS ATTENDED THE 6-HOUR CLASS OVER 2 SESSIONS. THREE PROFESSIONAL EDUCATORS CONDUCTED THE COURSE. STEM PROGRAMMING: TWO CLASSES WERE TAUGHT FOR A TOTAL OF 12-HOURS OF PROGRAMMING FOR 20 STUDENTS. FIRST TEE MATH PROGRAM AT MARSHALL ELEMENTARY: FIRST TEE MANAGERIAL STAFF CONDUCTED 12-HOURS OF PROGRAMMING FOR 41 STUDENTS OVER A PERIOD OF 10-WEEKS. READING AND MATH ENHANCEMENT: 14 STUDENTS ATTENDED A 30-HOUR ACADEMIC PROGRAM TAUGHT BY PROFESSIONAL EDUCATORS AT THE FIRST TEE LEARNING CENTER AT MOHAWK GOLF COURSE.2. LIFE SKILLS CAMPS: 2,078 STUDENTS ATTENDED 8-WEEK PROGRAMMING AT A FIRST TEE LOCATION. THE MAJORITY OF PARTICIPANTS LIVE IN LOWER SOCIO-ECONOMIC AREAS OF TULSA REGION. CLASSES HELD MONDAY-SATURDAY FOR 8-WEEKS IN THE SPRING SESSION, 8-WEEKS IN THE SUMMER SESSION AND 8-WEEKS IN THE FALL. AN AVERAGE OF 28 CLASSES HELD WEEKLY EACH SESSION. INSTRUCTIONAL HOURS 1,098.3. TRANSPORTATION: 790 STUDENTS WERE PROVIDED TRANSPORTATION TO FIRST TEE PROGRAMMING AT MOHAWK PARK GOLF COURSE OR ANOTHER PROGRAMMING LOCATION, AND BACK TO THE SCHOOL. THESE STUDENTS RESIDE IN LOWER INCOME AREAS AND WOULD MOST LIKELY NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IF NOT PROVIDED THIS SERVICE. STUDENTS FROM 20 SCHOOLS OR YOUTH PARTNERING AGENCIES WERE TRANSPORTED. OVER 31,000 MILES WERE DRIVEN ON FOUR FIRST TEE VANS TO TRANSPORT THE STUDENTS.
