The mainstage musical production of 'Oklahoma' was a six week musical theater intensive in which a cast of over 65 students ages 7-18 learned how to put on a full-scale Broadway musical complete with elaborate sets, costumes, intricate lighting design, and a live orchestra. Typically, each production casts 65-85 students who live within a 40-mile raduis of Bartlesville, OK. CMT hires different artistic staff from theaters across the US who have garnered national exposure to serve as directors, music directors, and choreographers for the mainstage summer musical. These industry professionals provide a high-quality educational experience for cast members while exposing them to different directors, a variety of directing styles, and ensure fair and unbiased casting. There is no charge for this program.
