Memorial Museum - An interactive museum that tells the story and teaches the lessons of the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, OK, on April 19, 1995. Over 2.8 million people have experienced the museum since its dedication by President George W. Bush on February 19, 2001. Visitors come each year from all 50 states and countries around the world. The museum immerses visitors in the story through written text, video footage, thousands of artifacts, and live interaction through programming such as First Person - Stories of Hope, in which a family member, survivor, or first responder recounts their experiences from April 19, 1995, and allows visitors to ask questions.
