ON-SITE SERVICES INCLUDE EVALUATION, SPECIAL EDUCATION, PHYSICAL THERAPY, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY, SPEECH THERAPY, ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY, LOW VISION THERAPY AND NURSING. INCLUSION OF 10 TYPICAL CHILDREN IN THE CLASSROOMS. MONTHLY PARENT MEETINGS HELD FOR IN-SERVCIE TRAINING PURPOSES WITH ANNUAL RESOURCE FAIR HOSTED FOR OUTSIDE VENDORS. WITH OVER 232 ON THE WAITING LIST FOR SERVICES, TWICE-MONTHLY PROGRAMS AVAILABLE TO PARENTS; THESE PROGRAMS EDUCATE PARENTS ON HOW THEY CAN ENCOURAGE THEIR CHILD OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM ENVIRONMENT. PARTICIPATED IN COMMUNITY EDUCATION BY TRAINING PROFESSIONAL STUDENTS FROM COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES WITHIN DRIVING DISTANCE TO THE LITTLE LIGHT HOUSE. ENCOURAGED GROWTH IN THE NUMBER OF CHILDREN BEING SERVED AT TWO AFFILIATE ORGANIZATIONS FROM OTHER STATES WITH SITE VISITS; THESE AFFILIATES SHARE THE NAME OF THE LITTLE LIGHT HOUSE, BUT ARE ORGANIZED AND GOVERNED SEPARATELY.
