Young Audiences of Louisiana's mission is to inspire, empower, and educate children and communities through education, arts, and culture. Originally founded to bring chamber musicians into classrooms, YALA has evolved to meet the changing academic, creative, and social needs of students in our state. Current initiatives include summer and afterschool arts in education programs, arts integrated professional development for teachers and teaching artists, performances for students, Louisiana Wolf Trap early learning performing arts partnerships, and arts integration services at Young Audiences Charter School.
