Parent Services Project engages and strengthens families to take leadership for the well-being of their children, families, and communities. Our program models have been developed, tested and refined in Marin County and the San Francisco Bay Area, and replicated in over 800 sites throughout 18 states nationally, reaching an estimated 45,000 families. PSP has been recognized as a leader in the field of family support and engagement receiving an award by the Annie E. Casey Foundation, placing PSP in its Families Count National Honors Program in 2000, and recognition of PSP as an exemplary program by Strengthening Families Through Early Care and Education, Doris Duke Charitable Foundation and Center for the Study of Social Policy in 2003, and the Golden Bell Award from the Marin County Office of Education in 2010.

Family Literacy & Child Development Support: PSP supports family literacy and child development through coordination of the Raising A Reader (RAR) book sharing program along with Aprendiendo Juntos, a school readiness playgroup for children aged 0 5. During the past year PSP served over 2400 children and their families through RAR.
