Our mission is to provide medical, surgical and interventional cardiac services for children who are affected by congenital and acquired heart diseases, and to establish Centers of excellence for pediatric Heart Surgery within our host of countries.

In 2018 the Caribbean Heart Menders Associations major focus was aimed at working with the administrative leadership at the Bustamante Hospital for Children to identify resources required to finalize opening of the pediatric cardiac unit. In July the President convened a meeting with the facilitys medical and administrative leadership team in Jamaica in furtherance of this objective. Based on the expressed need of that facility, the Caribbean Heart Menders Association purchased six suction machines with required attachments for the pediatric cardiac unit in October 2018. Cost of overseas Travel was pro bono. Cost of unit $3960.00
