JMJ FOCUSES ON LETTING WOMEN KNOW THAT THEY ARE STRONG AND CAN HAVE A BABY AND FINISH SCHOOL OR CONTINUE TO WORK. JMJ PROVIDES THE NECESSARY MATERIAL AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT TO WOMEN AND THEIR FAMILIES FROM THE FIRST DAY THEY VISIT US UP UNTIL THE BABY IS ONE YEAR OLD. JMJ DOES NOT CONSIDER ABORTION A CHOICE, BUT CAN REFER FOR ADOPTION ASSISTANCE THROUGH CATHOLIC CHARITIES.IN 2019, JMJ HAD 4,635 CLIENT VISITS. SERVICES PROVIDED TO CLIENTS, AT NO CHARGE TO THEM INCLUDE:1) 1,236 PREGNANCY TESTS2) 771 ULTRASOUNDS3) 2,463 VISITS FROM LIFTING LIVES CLIENTS, WHERE CLIENTS RECEIVE MATERNITY CLOTHING, BABY SUPPLIES, CAR SEATS, STROLLERS, BABY CLOTHING. CLIENTS ARE SUPPORTED THROUGH THE LIFTING LIVES PROGRAM FROM THE DAY THEY COME INTO THE CENTER UNTIL THEIR BABY IS 1 YEAR OLD. PRIOR TO HAVING A BABY, MOM CAN COME IN EVERY 30 DAYS TO GET MATERNITY CLOTHES AND PRE-NATAL VITAMINS.4) 143 EMERGENCY VISITS - THOSE SERVED WHO ARE IN DIRE NEED AND HAVE NO WHERE ELSE TO TURN. JMJ USUALLY PROVIDES REFERRAL SERVICES TO PHILANTHROPIC ORGANIZATIONS WHO CAN PROVIDE FURTHER ASSISTANCE TO THESE CLIENTS.
