THE AUBURN ALUMNI ASSOCIATION'S PRIMARY MISSION IS ENHANCING THE ENGAGEMENT AND CONNECTION OF ALL AUBURN UNIVERSITY ALUMNI AND FRIENDS. IT'S VISION IS TO ADVANCE AUBURN UNIVERSITY BY ENGAGING OUR GLOBAL COMMUNITY AND CULTIVATING THEIR PASSION FOR AND LOYALTY TO THE UNIVERSITY. WE DO THIS IN A VARIETY OF WAYS. WE SPONSOR PROGRAMS TO ENCOURAGE THEIR RETURN TO THE PHYSICAL CAMPUS. WE HOST FUNCTIONS, SUCH AS TAILGATES AT HOME AND AWAY FOOTBALL GAMES AND TOURS FOR GROUPS OF ALUMNI AND FRIENDS THAT FOSTER A SENSE OF BELONGING TO THE "FAMILY" OF AUBURN UNIVERSITY. WE SEND MEMBERS A QUARTERLY MAGAZINE THAT KEEPS THEM INFORMED ABOUT MATTERS CONCERNING THE UNIVERSITY AND THE ALUMNI COMMUNITY, SUCH AS INFORMATION ON PROMINENT AND SUCCESSFUL INDIVIDUALS WITH AUBURN TIES. ADDITIONALLY, ALL ALUMNI ON RECORD ARE SENT ONE ISSUE OF THE AUBURN MAGAZINE ONCE A YEAR. OUR SUCCESS IS EVIDENT IN THAT BASED ON PARTICIPATION STATISTICS WE HAVE ONE OF THE TOP ALUMNI PROGRAMS IN THE COUNTRY.

AUBURN MAGAZINE - ESTABLISHED IN 1993 UPON DISCONTINUANCE OF THE ALUMNEWS NEWSPAPER. SINCE THAT TIME IT HAS WON NUMEROUS AWARDS. IT PROVIDES A VEHICLE TO ENHANCE THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE UNIVERSITY AND ITS ALUMNI AND FRIENDS AND FOSTERS A SENSE OF IDENTITY AS AN "AUBURN PERSON."
