The mission of FFL is to prevent the spread of HIV and help people affected by HIV/AIDS live well. Through each of our services and in all of our efforts, the agency is driven by five goals: 1. To increase viral suppression rates for our clients living with HIV; 2. To elevate HIV awareness in the minds of the public, while encouraging self-advocacy on the journey to personal wellness and healthy sexuality; 3. To expand awareness and access to PrEP and other HIV prevention services, emphasizing the role of HIV treatment as prevention; 4. To recognize and reduce the role of stigma as a barrier to testing and care; 5. To reduce health disparities for communities disproportionately impacted by HIV, the first step in ending the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Memphis.
