The association's mission is to preserve the historic heritage of the Dickson-Williams Mansion including the grounds and related furnishings and collections through authentic restoration, preservation, and conservation.

Expenses include complete maintenance and preservation of the building, presentation of exhibits and educational programs, publication of materials about the masion, and continuing research and interpretation of the mansion through exhibits and educational programs of its history.
