To provide the residents of East Tennessee with the highest quality, locally-produced opera possible. To contribute to the future of the operatic art form by educating the community about opera and its role in our culture and presenting new works when possible. To expand audiences for opera in the region. To encourage the development of operatic talent in this community, and foster its exposure to the greater opera audience.
