CONNEXUS ASSOCIATION WAS ABLE TO PROVIDE MONETARY CONTRIBUTIONS TO OVER 50 DIFFERENT INSTITUTIONS OR ORGANIZATIONS TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR EDUCATION, ASSIST EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS, PROVIDE FINANCIAL LITERACY EDUCATION, AND OTHER CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES. DURING 2018 CONNEXUS ASSOCIATION CONTINUED ITS CURRENT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS WITH 8 LOCAL SCHOOLS. TWENTY-ONE HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES FROM 6 LOCAL HIGH SCHOOLS WERE EACH AWARDED A $1,000 SCHOLARSHIP TOWARD THEIR POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION. TWO ADDITIONAL $1,000 SCHOLARSHIPS WERE GIVEN TO STUDENTS ATTENDING THE LOCAL 4-YEAR EXTENSION, UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN MARATHON COUNTY. IN FALL OF 2017, CONNEXUS ASSOCIATION ESTABLISHED A SCHOLARSHIP FUND WITHIN THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF NORTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN. THE FUND PROVIDED 5 HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS WITH A $1,000 SCHOLARSHIP TOWARD THEIR COLLEGE EDUCATION DURING 2018.DURING 2018, CONNEXUS DONATED OVER $20,000 TO 7 LOCAL SCHOOLS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES. OVER $60,000 WAS GIVEN OUT TO OVER 10 ORGANIZATIONS TO DIRECTLY SUPPORT FINANCIAL LITERACY EDUCATION WITH THOUSANDS MORE DOLLARS GRANTED TO ORGANIZATIONS WHICH WOULD INDIRECTLY SUPPORT FINANCIAL LITERACY EDUCATION.OTHER CHARITABLE GIVING AS APPROVED BY BOARD TO ORGANIZATIONS INCLUDING RED CROSS, UNITED WAY, AND AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY.
